This site is dedicated to the memory of Katie Ollerton.
Katie Ollerton was born in Poulton le Fylde on January 19, 1968 and left us 21st February 2012 after coming to the end of her journey with cancer. Katie was a truely inspirational person who touched everyones life that she met. She will be missed by all who knew her. A wonderful life that we want to celebrate here, which at 44 years was just too short.

Katie was one of those few people who have a truely kind nature, I spent many a pleasant evening chatting in the Thatched, and a very wonderful concert at Round Hay Park August 1993. I didn't realise just how much she ment to me until she was gone. I wish you peace Katey, very glad to of known you.

Thoughts
I met Kate several times over the past few years since Chris and Ju got together. She was a lovely person and such an inspiration to us all. She never felt sorry for herself and just got on with what she had to do. An amazing lady, and I am truly grateful that I knew her, even thought it was only for a few short years.

I met Kate once at a ballet with Liz.... I don't remember the date, but I certainly remember Kate! The smile that makes all around smile, the grace that makes all around more humble, and the memory of Kate will continue through dance for me.... you won't be forgotten Kate, you will continue to dance. A truly inspirational lady. God bless xxx

Wow, what a star you are Kate!! Havnt seen you for 15 years.....but you were never forgotten!!!! I am the same age as you, I always looked up to you and wished I was intelligent and wise like you!
In fact my daughter is named Katherine Mary - so theres hope for her at least!!
Had a ball ' inter railing' with you and tall Clare, and many other nights and days out, when I tagged along with David, Jules and Shirl girl! Thanks for letting me tag along, it was ace to have known you!
